Pink Moon Farm is a diversified 22 acre farm located in Eatonville, WA. On a historic farmstead, Pink Moon is in its second year of growing in Eatonville. Pink Moon benefits from mature fruit trees on the property, which provide ample apples, cherries, and peaches. The farm is run using sustainable, thoughtful practices while not certified organic, the farm uses practices that align with organic certification.
In 2019, Pink Moon’s production will include approximately an acre of mixed vegetables, a flock of 65 laying hens, a growing flock of 19 Icelandic Sheep, and rotations of up to 50 Freedom Ranger broiler chickens raised on pasture. The remaining space on the farm is leased to a neighbor for raising Black Angus cattle.
Pink Moon sells through a variety of channels including two farmers markets in Yelm and Tacoma, and directly to consumers through a community supported agriculture program (CSA). The farm also sells to several wholesale accounts and partners with a local food bank to move leftover produce.
