Our family purchased this historic farm, homesteaded in the 1880s, in January 2017. Since that time, we have brought agriculture back to this land and are in our fourth season of growing fruit, produce and cut flowers. We have a large flock of unique and rare laying hens which live in our pasture and in our orchard, and which produce a stunning array of beautifully colored eggs.

In 2020, we put eight acres of our fifteen acres into designated woodland. This stunningly beautiful forested area, an important wildlife corridor for Kitsap County, is now the new home of Magnolia Forest Preschool, a meaningful partnership between this forest-based preschool (which supports the growth and learning of 2 1/2 to 5 year olds through nature/outdoor play) and our family. To learn more about this model, please visit: www.magnoliaforestpreschool.com.

Everything we grow, as well as our eggs, are available at our barn farmstand May through October. Additionally, we have many community U-pick flower, pumpkin and produce events throughout the year and host fun and creative classes and workshops out of our historic barn. Sign up for our email newsletter to stay apprised of our many events throughout the season. We look forward to seeing you!

Farm Practices

Our farming practices are steeped in regenerative agriculture and permaculture. We utilize no-till and carbon sequestration methods in every facet of our work here. We have large, demonstration hugelkultur beds and a beautiful - young - food forest where we are growing a wide array of fruit and nut trees as well as unique cane fruit and berries.
