Located in the heart of the Skagit Valley, just outside the town of La Conner, we grow a wide array of organic and specialty produce sold through our La Conner farm stand, farmers markets in Mount Vernon (Saturday) and Mercer Island (Sunday) and for wholesale both farm-direct and through the Puget Sound Food Hub.

Our crops include cauliflower, cabbage, lettuce, snap peas, heirloom, cherry, and beefsteak tomatoes, beans, beets, blueberries, cucumbers, pumpkins, onions, squash, strawberries, sweet corn, swiss chard, and kale to name just a few.

We have been farming here since our (great) grandfather, Rasmus Koudal, came over from Denmark in 1906. When he reached the Skagit Valley it looked enough like Denmark to call home, so he stayed, and here we are. We’re committed to the long-term stewardship of the lands and waters of the Skagit Valley and we look forward to growing great food for you in the next hundred years!

Farm Practices

The vast majority of our fresh market produce is certified organic by WSDA, and as of January 2020, our entire farm is Salmon-Safe certified! We are committed to the long-term stewardship of our farm by preserving and improving the health of our soils, our waters through our farming practices.

We practice regular crop rotation, select varieties adapted to our soils and our climate, and make judicious use of fertilizer and pest-controls to ensure the health of our soils and crops through an integrated pest management program that covers both our organic and conventional farming operations.
