Paradise Farm is in the Paradise Valley Conservation Area. We are partnering with Snohomish County as the property is part of the Park Department. It is also one of the oldest farms of the state, started by the Lloyd family, who managed the site for over 100 years. The forest and the farm is on land considered sacred celebratory ground by the Coast Salish Tribes. The headwaters to Bear Creek are here.
We follow permaculture methods, use smart technologies and promote ecosystem supportive regenerative agriculture. We are Salmon-Safe certified. Our wildlife management program won us the Wildlife Wise certification.
Farmer Frog is an educational organization. We are creating and supporting edible school gardens and hands-on STEAM learning for students from pre-school to post-graduate levels. We are developing our center at Paradise Farm. Our art program is Farmer Frog Studios. It offers a platform for young artists to create and launch their work. Our goals are to foster awareness and engage people in finding solutions to ongoing social justice and environmental issues. Our values are reflected in our work.
At Farmer Frog we believe that science is real, all humans are home on Earth, Love is Love, Indigenous rights are human rights, Black lives do matter, Air, Water, and Soil are Life and we all have the right to cover our basic needs.
People can join our volunteer team and come and participate in classes and programming as well as support our work by purchasing services and produce.
