A woman-owned and operated urban farm in North Seattle, Bad Weather Farm prioritizes people, planet, and pollinators. We specialize in vibrant cut flowers and floral arrangements, including a bouquet subscription service.

We also have a seasonally-inspired Farm Box subscription for folks looking for hyper-local, sustainably grown produce. The Farm Box is aimed at single folks, couples, apartments dwellers, or folks new to the world of community-supported agriculture – smaller portions and the ability to customize your box make this perfect for folks for whom traditional CSA shares are overwhelming.

In the spring we sell plant starts (let us know if you’re looking for anything in particular), and once our free-range chickens and ducks start laying, we’ll have eggs to sell as well.

Florists, herbalists, natural dyers, and fiber artists – reach out for plant and handspun yarn availability.

We’re just getting started, so our capacity for taking on new customers is limited. Please reach out if you’re interested, though – we want to hear from you!

Farm Practices

Permaculture-inspired, earth-friendly, pollinator-prioritizing methods. Lots of native plants and composting. The only pesticides we use are neem oil and Sluggo.
