Alpacas from MaRS has been raising huacaya alpacas since 1999 for their luxurious fleece for the commercial and cottage industry. We have worked hard to create breeding stock that has consistent, lingering fineness. Our herd covers the full spectrum of natural color, we don’t discriminate when it comes to fine fleece!

All of our alpacas are registered with the Alpaca Owners Association via DNA testing. Our fiber studio is the place where magic happens! Felting instruction available. Groups and parties welcome. Tours and fiber arts projects available. Finished product as well as raw fleece available in our farm store. Natural products for your garden.

Farm Practices

Alpacas are eco-friendly, easy on pastures and provide wonderfully soft fleece. Sharing our alpaca experience is something we love to do. We gladly mentor new alpaca owners and are members of local and national alpaca associations, as well as fiber pools to support a commercial alpaca fleece industry. Alpacas from MaRS offers hands on alpaca clinics, fiber workshops, and family friendly tours with take home activities. Our farm store is filled alpaca products hand made from the fleece of our own herd as well as items that are produced from the US herd. Visitors welcome!
