Come buy fresh produce grown locally by refugees and immigrants! Tukwila Village Farmers Market is presented by Food Innovation Network and IRC’s New Roots program, which builds on the agricultural experience of many refugee and immigrant families by providing access to land, materials, and education for program participants to grow healthy food.
The market also features prepared foods made by local entrepreneurs at Food Innovation Network’s Taste Around the Globe booth. The business owners come from immigrant and refugee communities, and they offer global cuisines that reflect the diversity of our region, from Congolese to Cambodian.
We follow all public health guidelines to ensure a safe market experience. During the pandemic, we ask all shoppers to: wear face coverings in line with King County’s public health directive; maintain at least six feet of distance from others; and stay home if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19.
